Hi Linda,

We just wanted to let you know we took Josie to the Vet today and it looks like she got a clean bill of health. Joan mailed the paperwork you needed today.

I have attached a picture of my daughter Faith just a minute after we picked Josie up the other night.

The look on Faiths face says it all.

Thanks

Bruce & Joan

Hello Linda,
We named our puppy Tiko and as you can see on pictures smile on my daughter's face
describes how great gift she's got.

She plays with Tiko almost every day and there are no toys in the world which could beat that!
My wife loves him too.
Tiko has grown up and he is very smart, lovable and he always jumps
joyfully seeing us coming back home.
He is now 18 month old and weighs 6 lb, happy and healthy New Yorker (sorry - Yorkie )

Thanks again, Linda

Hello Linda,

Our little 'Cookie' is doing wonderful. She is very pretty and loves to play in the garden with the kids. In the house she is calm and enjoys her little basket.
She didn't cry the first night, and did all her poops outside. She is the perfect little puppy.
I went to the vet with her this morning and she is doing great.

As promised, here by some pictures of her first day with Pauline. The surprise was wonderful. Pauline didn't realized it was her little dog until her dad signed the papers.

Thanks again for everything. She is a little joy in our family.

Best regards,
Sophie

One of the Most Frequently Asked Question's We Receive Is:
"How can you let these precious babies go??"
If the three pictures above do not answer that question,
let us further explain.
I feel I have one of the most rewarding careers out there.
Not only do I get to stay home with our children as they are growing up,
watching them playing and chasing puppies/dogs around, full of laughter, with their friends;
I also get to see so many of your children's faces light up with excitement as they get their
brand new puppy from us.  I receive many hugs and thank-yous from children I have just met.
And I must say, it doesn't stop there:  It's also the many people that have just lost their spouse,
looking to find some companionship to help fill the loneliness.  Or the young man
surprising his girl friend/fiance with a new puppy.  So many stories are shared:
"This puppy is my child's last wishes as he/she is fighting a terminal illness." ,
"This puppy has been recommended to help my child overcome his/her illness."
Then, it's the many phone calls, texts, emails that I receive:
Thanking us for making their Mom/or Dad able to laugh again
(after loosing their spouse or a previous pet that has been a part of their family for many years)
We could go on and on with the rewards we get back for raising these precious babies,
but the bottom line is, "It is the reward of knowing how much happiness
these puppies bring to others that allows us to be able to let them go."
So on that note: "We thank all of you that have rewarded us."

Thanks so much, Linda.

I appreciate your honesty and moral obligation in letting me know about the first pup's condition.  One of the hardest things about being a breeder is dealing with pups that don't do well or don't even make it at all.  You are an honest, forthcoming and reputable breeder and your decision to let us know means more to me than you'll ever know.

This pup is just as cute as the first!  We're still very, very, very happy and excited to meet the newest addition to our family.

The flight works great, and come to think of it, it will be nice to pick him up after the doctor, stop for a wee-wee in the park, and then head home.  I am now counting down the hours, not just the days!

I had an electronic signature file, so I just inserted it on the Word document instead of scanning the whole thing so that you can fill out the details at the top.

Thanks again, and let me know if you have any problems with the signed document.

Fondly,

Ali

Here are a couple of new shots of Ramses.

He has been with us two weeks tomorrow.  He uses the doggy door and is totally housebroken.  He is doing excellent in his training, and can now follow 9 commands:  sit, lay down, sit up, shake, turn around, sit up, beg, stand up, and jump up.  He is very, very, very smart.  I will send a video to show off his tricks soon.

Enjoy the nose shot!

Hi Linda,
>>
>> It has been a long time since I e-mailed you about McKenzie so I
>> decided I would sit down and bring you up to date on how she is doing.
>> McKenzie was the very tiny puppy born on 7-19-09 to Tinkerbell &
>> Sydney.   I remember you estimating her to be 5-6 pounds, but she did
>> not get nearly that big.  She tips the scale at 4 pounds even, but let
>> me tell you, what she does not have in size, she more than makes up
>> for in spunk.  She is a ball of energy and I certainly do not see her
>> slowing down, even at 15 months old.  She loves to take walks and run
>> in the backyard with our other Silky Terrier, Amanda.  They get along
>> great and keep each other company.  Her favorite toy is a small
>> squeaky tennis ball.
>>
>> Kenzie is very intelligent.  She is "bell" trained, just like Amanda.
>> She rings a bell when she needs to go outside.  This is a great thing,
>> especially as winter sets in. She has been extremely healthy as well.
>> She has a very shiny coat that does not tangle.  This is good because
>> being brushed is not one of her favorite things.  It requires sitting
>> still, which is not one of her strong points.
>>
>> As you can probably tell, we truly enjoy Kenzie. One of my good
>> friends has labeled her as the "Energizer Bunny".
>>
>> Hope all is well with you.  Enjoy the pictures.

Hi Linda!

Just wnated to send you a picture of Maddux and give a quick update.

He was at the vet on Saturday for his rabies shot and he is 11.5 lbs now.  The groomer and I finally caved and put him in a "long puppy cut".  He just has the most gorgeous coat.  I really didn't want to cut it and the groomer refused to cut it until he was at least a year old but as he started to blow his puppy coat it was getting really hard to keep up with and I didn't want him to be scared of me coming at him with the comb so we compromised and kept it "havanese looking" just a bit shorter.

This summer he started a barking thing at everyone that would walk past our house (and we have lots of people that walk dogs in our neighborhood) so we have been working with a trainer and sending him to "doggie daycare" a few times to get him a little more socialization around other dogs.  I do believe it has helped.

He is  just the sweetest and the cutest dog!  He is pretty laid back and just a really good dog.  We can't imagine our life without him now.  Enjoy the picture of our handsome boy!!!

Kim Tipsword and Maddux

He's Georges!!!  Very Sharp Looking.  How long did the house-breaking process go??  And does he actually give you a signal that he has to go out or do you just have him on a schedule??  Just been getting some very good reports back in the house-breaking area and was wondering what your experience was.  Thanks and have a great day.  PS- I love his hair cut, he still looks very "Havanese"   Linda Justason

Maddux was very easy to house-break.  He was doing very well several weeks after we got him and was 99% reliable by 6 months. He is 17 months now and I can't even remember the last time he had an accident in the house.  And, he does come and tell me when he needs to go out.  He will come to me and make a very distinct grunt/growl when he needs to go out and will then go stand by the back door.  He started doing this on his own, we didn't train him to do it.  He started doing this when he was about 4-5 months old.

I am 100% sold on the Havanese breed and don't think I would ever consider another breed of dog.

I just wanted to drop a line to let you know how Cujo is doing.
We are so in love with him.  He provides us with so much joy.  Even if you get mad for a second,  you look at that face and you melt.
He is my shadow, lol.  I can't go to the bathroom by myself.
We have him in obedience training now and he is doing really well.  Well, he refuses to do "down" but sits very well.
How is the "our original Cujo"?  Are your kids enjoying him?  Could you send me a pic just so I can see how he "turned out" ?  Cujo's coloring is beautiful.
Drop me a line if you get a chance.
Thanks again,
Julie, Rob and Cujo

Hi Linda, My name is Tracy Siegner, my Dad bought a puppy from you two Sundays ago.  He asked me to e-mail a picture that was taken of him on Thursday.  He has named him Shinyuu, which means Best Friend in Japanese.  He is a very sweet puppy J

Hi Linda,

I just thought I would try this again and see if you can open these pictures of Josie.

Dear Linda,

I am so happy with my little silky terrier Srgt. Tibbs! He is so loveable, energetic, and VERY entertaining! He is always finding ways to get in to some new trouble around the house and i love every second of it! He loves kids. Thanks to kyle and all your little girls :)......Every single neighborhood kid in my apartment area comes to see him! He has more friends then i do lol! Even though he does find ways to get in trouble he does give me the respect i need when he is REALLY trouble. He is absolutely perfect. Potty training has been going pretty well but you have to expect some accidents. He is a very intelligent pup and is catching on to simple commands quickly. Over all his the most adorrable and perfect companion. Even though everyone gives him attention he has already caught on that i am his master. He is always way more happy to see me then anyone of my roommates or family. He knows who his mamma is ;). He looks quite a bit like his daddy sammy he is about 5 months now and he still has his black in his coat just like sammy. Hes 5 and 1/2 pounds and ball of raging fur.
Thanks so much,
Mindy Berns

Hello Linda,

I wanted to send you some pictures taken Wednesday after Cookie's first grooming, so you can share them with your children, and tell them that she is very spoiled with us.
Cookie looks more and more like her mom doesn't she? She is the cutest and adorable puppy ever! She brings so much joy in our family ;-)

I have a question for you Linda, with your experience, do you have an idea until what age the havanese puppies are still growing? Is it 6, è or 8 months?

Thanks again for this wonderful addition to the Godefroid family, we love her so much...
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you all.

Hi Linda,

I thought I'd give you an update on Chloe.  She's made herself right at home here.  She's happy, smart and growing like a weed!  We all love her and I think Cooper thinks she's o.k. too!  It took him five day's, but on the sixth day he started actually playing with her and that's all it took.  Here are some pics for you.  The first one was taken the first day we brought her home.  Check out Coopers facial expression, it's priceless!

Take care,

Kim Dales

Toni told me that you were interested in seeing pictures of Holly.  She is adorable and we have like a million!  I'll try to narrow it down here.

Linda:

We got Chloe (Havanese) in April of 2011, she has brought lots of laughter and smiles into the house.  She is absolutely one of the best dogs we have had.  She makes the house complete.  She loves running around the house with the kids and playing with her toys.  She goes practically everywhere with us, she loves riding in the car and playing with the kids at the school playground.  I truly believe in everything about this breed, she is non shedding, does not bark very much and she is the perfect size for any house.  The Bonner Family

Hello Linda,

I'm sure you won't remember but I bought Sarge from you after just returning from Iraq.  I thought you would enjoy a picture of my boy to see how well he's doing.  He is incredibly smart and extremely friendly dog.  My neighbors rave about him.   Just wanted to thank you for raising such quality pups.  I may be wanting another one soon.   Enjoy the pic and thanks again.

Sincerely,

Scott Williams
